Yr5 Science Day at David Nieper Academy
Four excited Yr5 pupils to took part in Science Day at David Nieper Academy yesterday. They tried out 3 different experiments during the day exploring how things fly, thinking like scientists to work out how much power would be needed to launch a mini paper rocket. Having made mini aeroplanes, helicopters and rockets the highlight of the day was making a parachute that could carry and land a fresh egg without it breaking. Needless to say they did it and were one of two teams that completed the challenge successfully - well done!
