Shirland Primary School will be completing a sponsored walk on Tuesday 18th June to raise money for children born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). This is a life changing genetic disorder, that without early treatment, can result in tragic consequences. 

Today we met Rupert. Rupert was born with SMA and was the second child in the country to receive a new NHS treatment that saved his life. (Click on the link below to see his life story).

I will be walking 100 miles in 3 days (with 100 people) to raise £200,000 for the RALLY ROUND RUPERT charity, and the children of Shirland Primary School are supporting me to raise additional funds.
