Last Thursday we had the opportunity to visit David Nieper Academy for an exciting day of Science. Four pupils from year 5 along with 5 other local primary schools took part in a variety of chemical experiments mixing and testing various liquids with acid and alkali to see what different reactions they produced. They all looked liked real scientists while wearing their protective goggles. It was a very hands on day with all pupils getting their hands on a range of different chemicals and equipment.
