  Today, 4 children in our Year 5 class were invited to David Nieper Academy to take part in a science enterprise day. We learnt all about take-off and landing different types of aircraft (e.g. hot air balloons, aeroplanes and rockets) and then we had a go at creating our own rocket using recyclable materials. After, we had to design a parachute that would enable the egg to land safely without smashing! 

  Despite having to leave early due to the snow, we had a fantastic morning.

  

• Violin performance Year 5

  Pupils in Epic Elephants (Yr5) enjoyed performing in-front of a packed school hall yesterday for parents and the rest of school. They have been learning violin since September with their two music teachers Jo and Caroline.
