In Autumn, the Woodland Trust held a competition to design a poster to advertise the Young People's Forest at Mead. The Woodland Trust bought the area to be the site of the first Young People's Forest in the UK and aim to continue planting around 250,000 in the next few years. This will not only give young people access to nature but will also help to promote climate change in the UK.
The competition was entered by Panthers class and two pupils became lucky winners. We are very proud of all the pupils who took part and especially of the two winners.
Their poster designs have already been made into large banners and are currently displayed near the site.
