Our first ever simultaneous Parent Cafe was held on Monday 10th February. All classes spent some time learning more about the subject of "Control", and parents and governors were invited to come into school, observe the lessons and maybe even have a go themselves! Control is all about learning how to use a computer to move or change something else.
- Class JK programmed Beebots to tell them which direction to go in.
- Class DW controlled Beebots and Roamers to move from one place to another, and 2Simple 2 Go to find their way around a town.
- Classes FB & SB used Flowol to control lighthouses to shine their light when the sun had gone down.
- Classes LS & SH had a go at creating their own sprites on Scratch and moving them around backgrounds.
Drinks and refreshments were served in the hall, and second-hand uniform was on sale. The afternoon was really well-attended, and we would like to thank everyone who came along.
